What is Run and Follow?

Best selling design: Vintage Thrifted Tees with Anna’s signature red floral v neck!!!

Cover shot from her Fall 2016 line: “Faulted” (L to R: Fiona Ryan, Bianca Capozzi, Emily Lenzetti)
Run and Follow began as a lifestyle and fashion blog used to communicate my love for fashion through OOTDs, motivational posts, and trend forecasting. My desire for individuality led me to often make my own clothes, upcycling thrifted finds and from there Run and Follow X Anna B was launched. People were constantly asking me where I got my hand made pieces from and after enough people told me I should start selling my designs, I finally did.

July 2017 marked the one year anniversary since I launched my first mini line of clothes (Spring 2016 Line Here) and another line in the Fall (Fall Photoshoot Here) now besides one of a kind vintage up cycled pieces I also make game day tailgate apparel by custom order (here) and most recently I launched a section of my web store for unique graphic printed tees exploring my love for graphic design (here).

More About Anna B:
Anna B: life enthusiast, go getter, multi tasker, force to be reckoned with
My life motto is that you are never too young or too old to be following your dreams, hence the name of my blog “Run and Follow”. If I get an idea, I am immediately pursuing it which has led to a busy and fulfilling life that I love to share with others.
In 2015 I founded a high school club called the Trend Forecasting Club (Fashion Club) in order to give like minded people in my school a place to network for fashion business careers. Through the club I founded my school’s first fashion based fundraiser, the Consignment Night with proceeds benefiting OASIS, a haven for women and children located in Paterson NJ which I hosted in April 2016 and again in May 2017. The event focused on giving people in my school district and the surrounding area a unique shopping experience with brand pop up shops, a delicious spread of food, raffles, and a student hosted pop up shop of lightly worn second hand designer clothing.
I built strong relationships and seized networking opportunities with individuals from several brands within the apparel industry such as Tory Burch, Gypsy Warrior, Nena and Co., to name a few. In 2016 I was successful in raising $1,700 after an initial budget of $85. In 2017, we raised $2,500 with a start up budget of $100.
Besides the fundraiser, which was very close to my heart from November 2015-till my graduation in 2017, I divided my time into a number of other passions.
The base of my fashion education began with the amazing pre-college program at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I took weekend classes for Product Development, The Ins and Outs of Fashion Merchandising, and Jewelry Design Studio 1.
I worked my first internship at High IntenCity Corp., a licensing division for Charm It and Neon Tuesday. There I worked closely with the CEO and the head of marketing as a Social Media and Marketing Intern. I got to manage, and produce social media campaigns for the companies Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest as well as actively participate in conceptual design meetings and photoshoots. I also got to participate as a trade show assistant for CharmIt.
Wanting a diverse resume and experience base I then began working for a modern boutique specializing in unique pieces for affordable prices, Femmebot, as a sales associate. Being a people person I loved acting as a personal shopper for the customers and watching their confidence grow when they put on the perfect outfit. Realizing my strength in social media marketing, the owner was quick to offer me a position as the Social Media Manager where I generated and posted daily content for the Instagram, Facebook and Twitter as well as designing a weekly email blast.
Fashion to me is a means of communication. What I wear determines not only my mood, but how the world perceives me. Wearing the perfect outfit makes me feel energized and inspired so I hope when you wear clothes from my web store or when you scroll through my blog/social media, you feel inspired to run and follow your life goals the same way I am sprinting after mine.
Best,
Anna B
